My Journey

My journey into cloud engineering is built on perseverance, service, and the decision to keep moving forward. I entered the Army with the goal of making it a 20-year career, but serious injuries and medical challenges changed that path. After being medically retired, I continued looking for ways to grow, provide for my family, and build a future through education and technology.

Military service taught me discipline, leadership, responsibility, and the importance of supporting others. In one role, I helped track training and readiness for approximately 280 soldiers, coordinating school opportunities and helping ensure soldiers had the training needed for mission success.

Today, I am pursuing Cloud & Network Engineering at WGU on the AWS path. I am building hands-on projects in AWS, Linux, Python, C#, networking, and automation to turn determination and self-driven learning into professional opportunity. My story is not about never struggling. It is about refusing to quit.
